The murder trial of Alicia Andrews of Jacksonville rapper Julio Foolio is now in progress in Hillsborough County Court.

The state alleges that she worked as a lookout while the victim was celebrating his birthday. They claim she coordinated with others who later cornered the rapper in a Holiday Inn parking area.

Multiple shooters allegedly fired dozens of rounds, taking his life and wounding multiple people.

She faces charges of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

The defense argues that she didn’t know what the others intended to do. The defense says she was in Tampa for personal reasons.
